Unscrupulous dealer aided and abetted by PSE
Just saw this come up on eBay. I don't know what's going on at PSE but whoever certified this 187 did an incredibly poor job. Notice the eBay listing doesn't even show an image of the cert (go figure...) It's interesting that the ten cent large bank notes seem to have a huge number of instances of removed cancels compared to any other US stamps. This is also why eBay continues to spiral in reputation. You could report this until you're blue in the face, and they wouldn't take any action on it.
