That seems to vary from state to state on on how they regulate it, weather they adequately regulate it or enforce it is seems. They use to require instate sellers above certain limits to collect it now it seems they can go after large volume sellers…

Ebay collects tax, hipstamp on behalf of sellers apparently does not, dont know if sellers here do on their own. I dont sell and am always up to date. Do you cheat.
-
Ultimately when choosing Media Mail your exposing yourself to potential risks and delays in shipping due to outdated and vague USPS guidelines and although some packages may deliver without any hiccups some may not. The most cost effective, reliable…

If you need more information I suggest you speak with your post master.

I prefer this place and Stamps2Go for the missing set pieces, partial sets, shades and its often alot cheaper than Ebay and no tax. Ebay is good for estate sales, liquidations and lots and has better access to foreign sellers.
-
Yea yea. Bet you cant name a single person. In any case media mail package if it dont meet requirements arrives postage due upgraded to priority rate or gets returned to sender.

I do know where not to shop, absolutely pathetic customer service. GL

You must not be a very good seller since you insult your buyers by accusing them of attempts to circumvent the law when they express and educational opinion presented for public discussion in a forum. I know where you are coming from, I use to sell …

Although I got mixed response the summary was: Albums that are manufactured and can serve in the capacity of an educational material (example: say Falkland islands history booklet that contains historical info in addition to many stamps) is ok. 2. I…

Yes it is a grey area just got back from 6 post offices and spoke directly to post masters about the issue

Wayne the post office gives a vague guideline prone to interpretation and possible court challenges. In reality it is somewhat of a grey area. You can ague that a stamp album filled say with "Credo" usa stamps fits more the description of a book tha…

First off its far from a clarification! 2. Its an "opinion" based on a vague guideline that can be argued either way 3. the determination of fraud is made by the courts not a public forum and would not hold up 4. postal authorities are know to have …

Hopefully we can put this to rest. From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia A stamp album is a book, often loose-leafed (to allow for expansion), in which a collection of postage stamps may be stored and displayed. Media Mail service has special elig…

If its found to be inappropriate and that is highly unlikely in case of stamps item will arrive either postage due or will get returned to sender. With those same standards 1/3 of Amazon and other etailers stuff would be "illegal" as batteries, perf…

Well the only positive about the Corona is Ted's new bat video so far.

You can beat around the bush a album of stamps is the same as a book with stamps or book of stamps. Plus you stick stamps on the box as postage. If you are sending car parts via media mail I can understand that it may seem not right but stamps c'mon.
-
honestly I think I have received almost every type of article in the book via media mail at some point, some very innovative sellers pack the box with newspapers, music sheet printouts and the like to mask the main item.
-
if you going priority order some free A boxes on usps website as they not available at post office
-
media mail is the cheapest but not fastest. I consider an album as a book

Best put your money in stock market. Back in the old days the catalogue values where used as a guide in exchanging stamps now ppl want to make money and treat it as an investment. Nonsense
-
looks to be the same stamp just different ink variations. Quick google search reveals "one printing with 3 different perforations and 8 colour trials"
-
who is the seller? from my experience Seller: billkoby had a serious medical issue that is causing delays/issues with orders
-
To comply with government regulations thats kind of self explanatory, all I can say is there are increased government regulations and oversight on the way from what I heard. The ebay forced state tax on stamp purchases from overseas is one of the mo…

Thanks Ted for sharing great videos.

Yea that does help, thx. I still find myself having to do alot of various searches to find a particular stamp. Some are listed with SC some with SG some just with year.
-
An effective search would display results from 107, #107, with SG 107 or a translation of SC nr to SG. that just my 2c

Has bugs thou. When you enter your scott nr it searches for listings with #xyz and leaves out listings only containing xyz and that limits search results

Try a hair dryer, warm up stamp and adhesive then peel
