APO and FPO is considered USA. The postage is the same as to anywhere in the US.

Hi Michael, Up to this point, I have not had any buyers come back with follow up purchases. The concept is that if I have had a negative selling experience with someone, my comfort level is satisfied by KNOWING that they cannot purchase any more i…

Greetings all! I have been with this thread since the beginning and find much valuable information provided by you all. However, this thread is about blocking buyers and sellers! If you want to talk about postal procedures, please open a new thre…

I just checked this link and found that the seller listed the same R1c with a huge tear, five times in four different currencies, and is selling it for 100% catalog value!!!

Hi Dave, If you open an item and look under the details tab, you will find the year of issue. I know that I input this data on all of my listings (my store is HdStampHunter).

I agree with you Reg. I live in Germany, and all auctions seem to close between 1-3 AM, so if I am not specifically watching out for an item, I miss it. Getting the notice after I go to bed doesn’t help me.

I disagree with you Michael. Whether I am a buyer or a seller, I should have the ability to block another person. This in no way impacts on my sales, or on the other person's sales. In BidStart, we had the option to block someone. I have been w…

Hi Carol, I have not been in this thread for a while, and saw that you wrote the following on July 16: “How would you differentiate perfins, cancels, blocks, etc when they all included the same catalog number in the description? The "sorter" is go…

Here is another example to have many of one item listed. I have almost 200 USA item #s 803-807 in my store. These are all inexpensive items from the beginning of the 1938 presidential series. However, I listed circular cancels, slogan cancels, an…

And how about sorting by country / catalog number?
-
Will we have the ability to disable this function? For example, my store is setup with a German address, but when I buy my items are sent to a US military address. If I understand how this works, then I would not be able to see many items even tho…

Hi Mark, As with everyone else, we have concerns about our input to improve the site. In this thread you just made these three comments: "Just to re-iterate, we do appreciate all of the feature requests we receive, and keep track of each one. I…

Michael, that is precisely why the ability to block them is essential for us to enjoy our experience.

Luree, thank you for sharing. I may be a direct person, but I am a compassionate one. The one example that comes immediately to mind is this one: The seller used (#1, #2, #3, etc) in every listing, indicating that this was his first, second, thi…

I agree Ted, HipValue is only meant as an indicator of sales trends on HipStamp. However, it is not meant to be an accurate valuator of market prices. Even Scott catalogues are not a good indicator of market of prices. A good example are the curr…

I agree with Dave Bennett. You are obviously working on items to make our website a better one. My only problem is that you work in a vacuum -- why not publish a list of the ongoing projects that you are working on (i.e. the item, when it was iden…

Hi Ted, in general I agree, with a few exceptions. For example, I tried this with "Germany - Offices in China", and the default put it in China. Whereas it should have been in "Germany", with stamp_type "offices abroad" Another time, I put in a f…

I totally agree. This was never an issue in BidStart.

I just had a sale with 85 items. I copied and pasted it into Word, changed to font size 8, and then landscape with two columns. It fit on one page!!

Sometimes, a stamp may fall under two (or more) categories. Will there be an option for identifying two topics on an item in the future?

As we all may complain about the missing features here and there, Mark is doing a great job in providing us with a platform that is better than anywhere else on the market. That said, it is a business for Mark, and if he runs the business in a defi…

I would say that if the seller has made a mistake or error in the listing, and the item is not as described, then the seller should pay. A couple times I sent the wrong item, and asked the customer to return the item, and I sent a refund to pay for…

I think that people need to learn how to feedback, period. I had a customer a few years back who left me neutral feedback, "As stated in listing." Now I am not trying to read between the lines, but that to me is that he received exactly what was r…

Like the "Continue Shopping" and "checkout" buttons you find on most websites.

Mark, You just said this, "That's exactly what we do - prioritize items which we believe will have the largest impact on sales at HipStamp." When this topic was brought up in August, you commented, "We'll be reviewing this in the future, but it's …

I don't think that there is a "one size fits all" answer to this question. US material from 1936 to 1990 has a default catalog value of $0.25 each. This material you can buy everywhere as kiloware, but how about certain types of cancellations? I …

I just had a sales of 85 items. Wanted to print the invoice and it was 7 pages long. I then shrunk it down to 30% with the following results (one inch of the invoice): I then copied the invoice to Word, changed the font size to 9, with the follo…

This is a very good reason to have the Blocking Seller/Buyer function!
-
As a seller, we can also have a bad experience with a buyer. This blocking function was in BidStart -- shouldn't be too difficult to setup again.
