  • Very possible Ron! Unfortunately I don't have a scanner and I can't get a good angle with a camera. I don't believe it's a color shift but then I'm no expert on these. Any other opinions?
  • Thanks for the feedback Carol. Can you tell me the name of your store?
  • I buy from a lot of dealers and most use discount postage. I use to like soaking but don't anymore. I keep them and eventually package them for donation along with other items. But think about it - If you save enough of the so called discount pos…
  • I think the bigger issue is when a dealer really thinks he as an XF stamp when in my opinion and/or yours I would list it as a VF or even less. I know some issues are XF because of the issue not having very good printings. Grading is not an exact …
  • OK Dan - Maybe a better description would help - It is a MH Scott #589 US. The 0.08 Grant from the 1923-26 series Perf 10. In my opinion it is a VF-XF example of this issue - hence my reason for keeping it. I paid $5.50 w/$2.50 shipping for a VF/F…
  • Yes - i.e. when I bid on a stamp and it goes into my bid box. There seems to be a lot of room in that box to be able to type in a small memo or note. Thanks
  • I agree with Dave Bennett - Dealers drive me crazy with their scotch tape - It takes more time to unwrap the stamps than it does to click through all the tabs on HS to find something. And as far as packaging is concerned I like receiving glassines …
  • Everyone has their own opinion on feed back. I always leave feedback and appreciate it when a dealer leaves it for me. If I buy something off a new dealer they can look at my feedback and feel good that I'm a good buyer and proceed accordingly. I th…
  • I have found this site very confusing since day one. By taking my time and looking before I click on something has helped and now I'm getting use to it. So I'm sure they will be changing things shortly!
  • I never bothered to look at a seller feedback. Then I got burned. The hassle of filing a claim and waiting to see if you get a refund and when isn't my thing. I'll be more conscious of a seller's feedback now.
  • Ticket??? Have no clue what that is or how to go about it. Can anyone guide me? Appreciate it.
  • Everyone is saying to wait for Mark to look into this. I'm fine with that but have not heard anything from him saying he is looking into this. I need to watch the time frame as I don't always go on line during the week. Thanks for all your feed back…
  • Just Checked again - 1 positive feed back 12/1/16 for dealer StampsVT - dealer. Back in July two other buyers never received stamps. I guess I will wait till the weekend to see if I hear anything from Mark. If not I'll go through PayPal.
  • Thanks James - It worked but it was a lot easier on bidstart - sure do miss that site.
  • Hopefully they can get PayPal to allow PayPal Credit. It makes life a lot easier and faster! I deal with quite a few dealers on Hipstamp and like the feed back on quick payment as I pay immediately for whatever I put in my cart.
  • Thanks - hope you can convince them that stamp collectors are honest people!
