Hi Guys, Please don't get me wrong as I concur that Rosenburg does offer extremely good stamps - especially with regard to single mints. Being based in the UK they often prove to be financially unviable for me - not for the stamp value but because …

My mind is even more boggled after reading all these comments!! I buy at least once per month on the various auctions buying varying numbers of stamps and every month the shipping postage differs depending on who I'm buying from. That's what confuse…

Having said that, my mind boggles at the various shipping charges I encounter when buying from the US. A couple of sellers have proved to be so outrageous I have now blacklisted them. Even with the not so outrageous - the permutations seem endless …

Ah Dennis, I forgot that subtle point of the modern day view being that the customer is 'NOT' always right. Guess I will be waiting a long time.....................

All good stuff - but meanwhile I shall still patiently wait for an app to do the job for us. The Scott-SG listings would be a great starting point. So even if it was an independent app, how great would it be to be able to type in one number and it t…

OK George, That is as an individual setting up a personal auction! but... How does one get to participate in these 'no reserve' set-piece auctions that are run monthly? Are these by invitation to the big dealers only?

Dave, I try to be a sniper but find it very hard in the UK. There seems to be a delay on the signal and I often bid with inly 1 minute left only for a message to come up saying 'this auction is now closed' . Some nights I have to increase this to 2 …

Ron - you got me on that one !!! Paul, I didn't know that so I must find out how to block. Can you apply that to auctions as well? My approach is to sell with first class shipping and say that 'other' standards are available. If a buyer then prefe…

Tania, Whilst your comment is obviously very valid, it does work the other way round as well i.e. How does a buyer know a seller is honest and trustworthy? Its just as easy for a seller to say that the goods have been posted when they haven't!!! I k…

Good comments from all of you. I just find it annoying that when in Auctions you haven't always got time to sus out the charges and this is the second time I have been caught out (not by the same seller). I object to paying $23 shipping for 4 stamps…
