  Hi Ron, being a wholesale buying worldwide MNH sets in sheet, I have found it very common to find powder on the back of sheets. It was used to prevent sticking and ink transferred when sheets are stacked on top of each other. An old but effective use for those not having sheet files to store sheets in. Aside from a little mess in cleaning them off, it usually has no affect on the stamps. Best regards, Al
