Notes in bid box

Would it be possible to adjust the bid box so that one can make a memo or note inside it for reference. Sometimes I like to note how high I will bid on an item or who the seller is. There are other reasons for making notes also. I know you can do it in your EBay bid box.

Yes - i.e. when I bid on a stamp and it goes into my bid box. There seems to be a lot of room in that box to be able to type in a small memo or note. Thanks

In keeping with Dave's sage advice, I'd like to see the ability to add notes to the items that I am watching as I like to determine my max bid in advance of the auction. If you've seen my desk, you'll know why keeping such notes on paper isn't a good solution.
