  • What exactly are you searching for?

In general, if you enter your search such as:

    USA #1910
    or
    USA Scott 1910
    or
    USA Sc1910

You'll only see items which match the country of "United States" with Catalog Number "1910":
    https://www.hipstamp.com/search?keywords=USA+#1910&parent_id=0

We also accept searches such as USA 525 for Country / Catalog Number searches - except in the case where the number could be a Catalog Number or Year, such as "USA 1910". Since we can't tell if you mean a Catalog Number or Year in this case (without the # , Sc, etc.) we'll display results for both.
  • When my search already selected "United States" and I ask for 1910 I also got other country stamps. I will add the # sign in the future.
  • A search for US 5000 with United States selected gives 27 items. A search for 5000 with US selected gives 57 items (one of which is worldwide).
  • If you view the Worldwide (5000 Worldwide) listing, and click on Details>Item Specifics, you will see that the Seller has set the Listing Country as United States. It appears to me to be a Listing problem and not a Hipstamp systems problem.
  • Good point, Trent. I didn't look at his details.
  • Maybe instead of listing country it should read "stamp country of origin". Collector who is listing may have thought you wanted to know where he was sitting.
