  Yeah....no. However everything is collectable to one who wants to collect it. Ask my wife...she collected me years ago hoping I might increase in value. She is a poor judge of collectability. Now she's stuck with me no viable market.

  the S&H are not saleable at this point but a very strong field of collectors exist for most of the other store stamps of this type. Also Union dues stamps and Tobacco discount coupons are somewhat desirable as is gas discount stamps, Coal delivery stamps, Ice delivery coupons, milk delivery coupons. better items sell for about $3 and up. each. Typical is about $1 each or for pairs if not extremely common.

  Were S&H Greenstamps nation-wide? I remember them here in Massachusetts. They even had brick and mortar stores where you shopped and paid with books of stamps. They must have printed trillions of those. I think they had multiple stamps worth 100, 1000 or more stamps each. Those would be less available and maybe worth keeping?

  So I break these out for special occasions and captive audiences. I have a small collection of savings stamps, Easter seals, WWII ration stamps and tokens.

  It was those yellow Top Value stamps that bought my toaster oven....over 40 years ago.

  My parents redeemed books of Blue Chip Stamps for a set of ducks they hung on the wall.
