How to cancel a sale at buyers request
Hi all,
A buyer just purchased a $50 stamp that he didn't realize he already had. He then message thru Hipstamps, asking to cancel the sale.
I have no problem cancelling it for him, but I don't see any way to do it and get my fee refunded.
The only way I see to do it is just refund his Paypal payment, then mark "Cancelled" under shipping.
But, how do I get a refund on the final value fee.

Note that if a buyer requests to cancel a sale, there's no waiting period. The 5 day waiting period above only applies to filing a claim for non-payment of an auction or offer.

Mark, I hope it doesn't matter that I ended up cancelling the transaction before I refunded the purchase. There was then no way to refund through Hipstamp, so I had to go directly to Paypal to issue the refund.
