How does a seller block a buyer?

Hi, I've been selling on Hip now for a little over 6 months, and I've enjoyed the experience--
One buyer has claimed he never received, and then when he ordered again asked the next day if he could return part of the order because he didn't realize he had just received the set on eBay.
Listen, I've been a buyer for years and years. I've ordered items that were on my checklist, but didn't realize that it should've been taken off my checklist-- that's my mistake, not the seller's mistake. I eat this kind of stuff from time to time.

Getting to the point where I'm not sure I trust this buyer. Everything I have is "buy it now", and of course I have no choice of who the buyer is, and he's already paid when I receive the message. I'm guessing I could just refund his payments-- is that my only recourse here?

Thanks much!!

  • If you have an issue with a buyer, and no longer want the buyer to make any additional purchases with you, please inform the buyer via the HipStamp Message system. If the buyer then places any additional purchases with you, please inform our Support Staff via the Contact Us page, and appropriate action with be taken.
  • Ray it really sounds as if the Buyer is taking ADVANTAGE of you, I agree 1st with Mr.G. stand your ground, it was the buyers choice to order two sets of the same thing NOT YOURS!! 2nd Mr. Rosenberg has given you another option that you should and can take and use. I believe it is still a sellers right to choose who they deal with...
  • Actually glad I didn't take any action at the time-- the gentleman has now made 5 or 6 purchases from me, and there is now another level of trust that's been built.

    Thanks for the responses though!
