Store cancel and fees

In an email reply to Justin I sent the following questions on March 7:
Justin,
Got your phone message. I prefer email correspondence. I replied to you email below.
To save you searching for that reply, I am pasting it into this email.
The questions I ask, it would seem to me to be easily answered yes or no.

I have been listing on ebay for 19 years.
1.Do I have to have a store on Hip?
2. Does Hip require me to pay a $5.00 monthly fee?
3. Is that $5.00 monthly fee automatically billed to me each month?
4. If I close my store, will I still be able to list on Hip?
That’s 4 questions. How many will you answer?
After not receiving a reply for weeks, I closed my store. I believe I did so before April 1, yet I see $5 is posted on my CC. Because of both, the no reply AND the $5 charge I was trying to avoid, I will be terminating my use of this site.

    Hi Neil,

I'm sorry to hear you've had trouble communicating with us about your store. I can see in our email history that we did receive an email from you on March 7, and that Justin had responded to you via email on March 7, as well as followed up by phone. It appears that on March 8, you sent another email, indicating you had not received our first message, which was then resent to you.

If you did not receive either email message, I would recommend that you check that you've entered your email address in correctly, and then review your Spam folder as well. If you can find our email, please feel free to respond and then check your Spam folder again - as we always respond promptly.

If you still have trouble, let us know here and we'll reach out to you via phone.

With regards to a Store Subscription, when you open a Store Subscription you're charged $5 to your account on that day, which is valid for 30 days. On the first of each month your current account balance is charged to your credit card on file. So if you see a charge on April 1 - that's not a new Store Subscription charge, it's a charge to your credit card to clear your account balance (from your previous charges you incurred).
  • It should not take an email or a phone call to cancel a subscription/store! This should be easily located and accessible in the site itself. I too have had trouble getting this done. I will be alerting my bank of any further charges as fraud. I'm also trashing this site.

. . . enter the amount you want to pay in, in the box next to Credit Account. Click on Crecit Account, and on the next page you can pay by PayPal
