Love the Rattlesnake Island Local Post. Here is a FDC for the famous "Triangles" after they got slapped for their stamps looking too much like true US Postage Stamps A real functioning local post on Lake Erie. And the cover is addressed to my home town of Mentor, Ohio! I almost hate to part with it!

I didn't realize there were Ford Trimotors still flying in 1967

It is still flying! Well, it was as of a few years ago at least. I've seen it in the air at Port Clinton airport a few years ago when I was camping there.

Some of the locals say that Rattle Snake Island is owned by the Mob.
Some of the locals say that's only a rumor, started to scare away petty thieves and burglars.
