Rotation of Featured Items on the Home Page

I listed a few items yesterday and listed 1 as a "Featured Item" on the home page. I have gone back to the home page several times and have yet to see my item although it is there when I view all featured items. I have noticed that the Featured Items seam to be on a 16 item loop. Can you explain how the 'Featured Item" works and why only 4 are shown at at time and there are 8 shown for "Recently Listed".

I think Mark will have to chip in on this question. I've tried to understand it too. I guess I need to know that it's not skewed to favour particular listings or store subscription levels, given there's a set fee per featured listing.

Over time my question has been answered by simply looking at the home page-I see my item everyday now so no problems...

How long does a featured listing (2.50) last on the homepage if it is not an auction item?

Does it continue to be billed for the next 30 days?

Is there a way to search your inventory for Featured Items? I ask this because I normally don't go into the featured items area. A couple weeks back I did, and actually found one of my items that I must have inadvertently flagged as featured. I checked visually scanned the Featured area for others but could not find any. But I was not 100% sure I didn't miss one.

no - you're not automatically re-billed.

Thanks Mark. That's great. I thought I would be billed each month so I removed the Featured Item. I'll keep that in mind for the future.
