The Spay and Neuter set of two stamps was issued on September 20, 2002 in Denver, CO . . .and, as seen in this cachet, at least one pair of a Dog and a Cat were sitting nervously in their Veterinarian's waiting room, not looking forward to their coming procedures!But it was all for a good cause!
This particular cover also bears, as a combo, the Bright Eyes Cat single from the 1998 set depicting 5 different Bright Eyes Pets!
