Item Description

WWII APO 35 German Soldiers Flamethrower Postcard Used By GI Victor 1945. The G.I. used APO 454 in his return address. Both APO numbers, 35 and 454 were located in Germany at this time. Postage free sent by soldier. For some reason, these types of cards are much less common used than unused. I suppose after the war, people threw away their WWII correspondence--maybe to forget. The German postcard reads: Da muss der Gegner weichen or roughly translated: The opponent has to give way.
