The 'NATURE OF AMERICA' series of U.S. minisheets comprised a beautiful and fascinating array of overall design sheetlets with 10 separate animal stamps woven into each image. Only a few cachetmakers attempted to display all 10 species in their FDC designs.Cartoonist and Cachetmaker Dave Bennett was a member of this brave but foolish minority! :o) Represented in his Pop-Up cachet are all 10 of the critters shown on the 'NORTHEASTERN DECIDUOUS FOREST' sheetlet - the 7th one in the 'NATURE OF AMERICA' series.
While he was able to fit all 10 species into his cachet, he couldn't get all 10 stamps to fit on one envelope . . . so you get TWO FDCS with all the furry, feathered, fluttering and fungal fauna! The covers fit a normal FDC sleeve when folded, but open up to a full 11"!
Don't be a TURKEY! -- make sure your collection includes these covers! (Gobble them up!)
