An excellent book for those philatelists specializing in the Washington-Franklin issues. Written in narrative form covering all the issues of a complicated stamp series. An excellent presentation of papers, watermarks, perforations, and varieties. The obscure rarities are described.

Used condition with some edge soil from aging. No page corner creasing nor page corner bends and no penciled notations noted. There appears to be a light ink mark at the bottom outer edge of the pages that does not extend onto the printed pages. Legibility is unimpaired by any of the described conditions.
