Item Description

Virgin Is 1866 4d Lake Red, Rose Paper, SG 15, Scott 5a, LMM/MLH, Cat £50($65).............. Scott Cat $60

Condition note:- There is a small shallow hinge thin center left (see hi res reverse scan) 

Fresh, good color, very well centered, a pencil id and light evidence of hinging on otherwise full lightly toned original gum. 

Scarce 1866 1s black & rose carmine, white paper issue, in fine to very fine mint condition.

Condition Notes for Mint Stamps
UMM = Unmounted Mint - never previously hinged (nh) mint stamps with no gum disturbance

VLMM = Very Lightly Mounted Mint - No hinge remainder but has very slight gum disturbance which may have been caused by a hinge.

LMM = Lightly Mounted mint clear evidence of having been previously mounted but light with full original gum

MM = Mounted Mint - clear evidence of having been mounted with hinge remainder(s) on back

Unused = No gum
