Vintage Germany Poster Stamp Deutschmeister (German Master) Cocoa With Silver Awards Petzold & Aulhorn A. G. Dresden Unused Paper Adhesion 70% Original Gum. In 1843, the merchant Ernst Louis Aulhorn founded the chocolate and candy factory "CC Petzold & Aulhorn" with the confectioner Carl Christian Petzold. The first factory was located in Dresden at "Am See No. 10" and was moved to the former mill site at Falkenstraße 49 (later Zwickauer Str. 22) in 1855. Branches were located in Berlin, Breslau, Chemnitz, Frankfurt/M., Leipzig and Nuremberg. In 1898 the factory moved to Bienertstrasse 1 and continued production there until the buildings were destroyed in World War II. The company moved to Hamburg in 1945 and was later taken over by Barry Callebaut. Wikipedia
