Vintage Germany Poster Stamp August Leonhardi Bodenbach. Chemical Factories For Inks, India Ink, Adhesives, Sealing Waxes, Etc. Unused No Gum. The ink factory was founded in 1854 by the chemist Christian August Leonhardi (Aug. Leonhardi) on the property Grundstraße 60/62 in Dresden Loschwitz. Due to the heavy environmental impact of the factory, the headquarters were moved to Trachau in 1927 and the buildings were demolished in 1934. In addition to its writing ink, the company also supplied office supplies such as sealing wax, carbon paper and ribbons for typewriters all over the world. There were representatives in Tiflis, Cairo, Hong Kong and Tokyo, among others. There were branches in Dresden Neustadt and in Tetschen-Bodenbach (Decin). Wikipedia
