Vintage Germany Poster Stamp "Aecht Franck" Fairy Tale Series Snow White Picture 4 Unused No Gum. The Württemberg company "Heinrich Franck Söhne" produced coffee substitutes from chicory, but also from other raw materials. This business was so big that it paid off to build a factory of its own in Linz in 1879 for the market in Austria-Hungary. Since Titze's fig coffee factory, which was taken over by Franck, was also located here, Linz developed into an important center for coffee substitute production.
