Victoria 1856-1858 1d yellow green imperf - 6d bright blue about roulette 6, victoria seated on throne, watermark large star, sg 40 & 73, scott 29-30, un* cat £575($745)........ Scott cat $600

Condition Note: - THE 1D IS WITHOUT GUM THE 6D HAS SOME PATCHY ORIGINAL GUM.

Both fresh with great deep color, both with 4 margins - rare on this issue with close impressions (see adjacent stamp lower on the 1d), the 1d has a couple of tiny tone spots (really only visible on the hi res scan) with light evidence of hinging on otherwise clean reverse sides with traces of patchy original gum.

Condition notes for mint stamps
UMM = Unmounted Mint - never previously hinged (nh) mint stamps with no gum disturbance

VLMM = Very Lightly Mounted Mint - No hinge remainder but has very slight gum disturbance which may have been caused by a hinge.

LMM = Lightly Mounted mint clear evidence of having been previously mounted but light with full original gum

MM = Mounted Mint - clear evidence of having been mounted with hinge remainder(s) on back

Unused = No gum
