Item Description

Venezuela, Scott #862 (Catálogo Especializado de Estampillas, 3rd edition, #1588), used (o), 1964, Tourist Scenes: the San Juan Mountains in the State of Guárico; the Los Morros (rounded peaks) are limestone rock formations that stand out in the landscape near the city of San Juan, the capital of the state, in central Venezuela, 15 centimos, lithography printed and inscribed by Bundesdruckerei, Berlin, perforated: 13½x14, multicolored, Scott 2019 catalog value: 25¢. Nicely centered, half circular, single-rimmed, black-inked, socked-on-the-nose border cancellation at the lower left clear of the central image, sound back, hinge remnant, good perforations; centering and image clear cancel warrants a selling price premium. This is not a 'bait-and-switch' offer. The stamp you see will be the one you receive.
