Item Description

I apologize to all philatelists out there. My dad is 85 years young and I am trying to help him "downsize" some of his stuff. Stamps appear to be "some of his stuff". What I know about stamps would probably fit on the stamp itself, but I am trying to look things up as I go. Please, if you see something incorrect regarding my listing, let me know so that I can learn (and also correct the listing).

This item is a United States Postal Card with the black Jefferson stamp imprint centered on the upper half of the front of the card. The denomination is "One Cent" There are two cancellations over the stamp: Chicago, Ill, June 25, 1901 and Washington, D.C, June 27, 1901. There are 3 other postmarks, upside down at the bottom front of the card: NY & Crafton, June 26, 1901; Station G Received; and Washington, D.C., June 27, 1901.

The stamped portion of the card is in very good condition, however, there are some (?) paint streaks on other parts of the card. Card measures 3" x 5-1/16" and its edges are worn. It is a pre-printed receipt card from George M. Clark & Company, Jewel Gas and Gasoline Stoves. The edges of the card are worn and there is discoloration across the upper back of the card.
