I apologize to all philatelists out there. My dad is 85 years young and I am trying to help him "downsize" some of his stuff. Stamps appear to be "some of his stuff". What I know about stamps would probably fit on the stamp itself, but I am trying to look things up as I go. This item is a one cent Postal Card with a Jefferson stamp imprint (black). The card is uncancelled. It is address on the front but is blank on the back. From what I can find, I believe this postal card is from 1897. The edges of the card are worn, otherwise it seems to be in very good condition. The card measures 3-1/4" x 5-1/2".
