Item Description
Grade: VF (Very Fine)Complete set of World War 2 Remembered 50th Anniversary books and stamp sheets prepared by the USPS in 1991-1995. Each of those 5 years they issued a sheet of 10 different stamps with a central vignette showing the progression of the war 50 years ago. They also produced a 40-page hardcover book for each year providing more photos and details of the war 50 years earlier. The books also include places to mount the full mini sheet as well as the 10 individual stamps to help tie the whole story of the stamps together. These stamps are all neatly mounted. In total there are 100 mint never hinged stamps with a face value of $29.60. Beautiful collection of these stamps memorializing the 50th anniversary of WWII.
