A. Kilger Company Wholesale Jewelry Watches Diamonds sent with Airmail etiquette label via Graf Zeppelin to Hanau, Germany with September 4, 1929 Friedrichshafen Bodensee Luftpost backstamp. The twelve #603 coil stamps paid the correct $1.20 for 20 gram letter rate per Graf Zeppelin and the sender must have felt obligated to pay the 5c Airmail rate for the Kansas City to Lakehurst service as well creating a 5-cent overpayment. A commercial Zeppelin use on AAMC Z-76, bearing one of the largest known multiples of the ten cent 4th Bureau coil stamp! Sent 1929, opened fairly cleanly at top, bottom right corner crease, some general wear & toning. Fine condition. Base shipping is $2.00 domestic and $3.00 international.
