Item Description
This stamp has Fine/Very Fine appearance, used with red circle of bars cancel, however upon closer inspection I believe this to be a USA #24 (Type V) with perfs trimmed to appear like a USA #8 (Type III). There is wide break in both top and bottom frameline and the side ornaments partly cut away. The way the stamp is cut at top reveals just the slightest hint of previous perforations.
