Vorphila / stampless folded cover (with contents) sent from N. Tucker in Boston, Massachusetts, USA to gin distiller Loopuyt Co in Schiedam, Holland - Netherlands. A bit worn, torn on page at right, as per scans. Contents are the two-page printed "An Act in Alteration of the Several Acts Imposing Duties ON IMPORTS... Passed the Senate May 13, 1828" With hand-written text on the blank page outlining the consequences for the business relationship with the distiller. Interesting Americana.
