Item Description

Official stamps of the department of interior & war department, both hard and soft paper issues. I used the "snap" test to determine which issue for each of the stamps, erroring to the cheaper issue. Some interesting cancellations among the nearly 90 lots, some of which will be listed next month.

MH (Mint Hinged, usually Remnant)

MNGAI (Mint No Gum As Issued)

MNG (Mint No Gum - but not issued as such)
