Our favorite story about the San Francisco Bay stamps in this series: When the stamp was first released, the Orange Yellow color (#400) was so light that the artwork was hard to make out. So, citizens took to whatever the 1913 version of Twitter was and demanded a change, which is why you also have the Orange #400A and #404. Faults/Flaws: None Apparent
