U.S. Scott 815 ten cent Prexies (6 copies) and Scott 928 five cent "Toward United Nations" paying the airmail rate to Australia. Mailed from New York City to New South Wales, Australia on September 25, 1947. Cover is somewhat roughly opened at right (see scans). Cover likely had an additional 10 cent stamp that fell off as that would have resulted in 75 cents postage exactly paying triple the airmail rate.Seller Information
