US Scott 65 Group of 8, Used, Color Study from 1862 to 1865
The top row are Rose (mid 1862)
The bottom row from left to right Dull Red (early 1865). Brown Red (mid 1865), and the last two are Pale Rose Red (late 1865). In terms of rarity, the rose and dull red stamps are the most common followed by brown red and then pale brown red. The brown red and pale brown red stamps are valued a few dollars more than the "normal" rose stamps.
