Many stamps appearing to be rare early coils are actually sheet stamps (particularly ones with natural straight edges) that have had perforations trimmed on 1 or 2 sides. Genuine coil singles cannot be verified, but the trimmed stamps frequently have closer margins than genuine coils. This stamp is suspect and is sold as a space filler and strictly “as is”. 2023 scott cat. Val. Is $50, if genuine.
