Us sc#36 1857 12c washington black used but appears without cancel pinhole

A very attractive stamp with 3 margins and just touching at left.  probably used, but no cancel is evident so stamp appears unused.  has a tiny pinhole, as in the 1800s sellers would use pins to mount their stock on wooden back drops.  2022 scott cat. Val. Is $300 as used.
