United States, 1931 2c rose & black Yorktown issue, Planty 703-34a-34l, Robert Beazell FDCs, black photo cachets on photosensitized paper, YORKTOWN, VA. / OCT 19 / 1931 cancels, complete set of 12 scenic large format square cachets, matching typewriter addressed to G. Vincent Scofield in Charleston, W. Va. The stamps affixed to "Siege of Yorktown" and "Volunteers 1780-1781" cachets were torn prior to mailing, couple of insignificant cover bends on otherwise immaculate covers. Smeared cancels as always due to the glossy nature of the photosensitized envelopes which did not hold ink well.
