Item Description
U.S. Philippines Original WW II 10 Cent Declaring "Victory" Plate Block of 6 Stamps MNHThese are original stamps issued in the U.S. Territory of the Philippines in January 1945 even before the battle of Manila and well before the Japanese were totally defeated and driven out of the islands.
The stamps were made by simple overprints of pre-WW II U.S. Philippine stamps.
The plate block in Post Office fresh, mint never hinged condition. It does have some natural gum creases, common on the stamps of the era.
Very historical and great for framing!
