Item Description

A rare Patriotic Fleetwood cover designed by L.W Staehle for the April 15th 1942 dedication of the West Virginia post office and addressed to H.L. Lindquist (Lindquist founded and became president of the National Federation of Stamp Clubs which grew to 600 clubs nationwide and 200,000 members. He also served as a member of the Postmaster General's Citizens' Stamp Advisory Committee, serving in that position 1957 to 1961)

Cover is signed on the rear from L.W. Staehle as the designer, open flap and addressed.
