This is our new Hip store to sell First Day Covers and world material (hence the very few seller ratings). Our main store is under the id WVStamps and is called Stagshead Stamps and Postal History. Please check our feedback rating as it is superb and we hope to have a good rating with this store soon.

We are two retired collectors in West Virginia who buy large collections to get material for ourselves and we sell the rest.

Please check out the other items we have for sale. There are probably more items for sale in whatever collecting area this is.

We combine shipping and do our best to calculate it accurately. We try to charge actual cost plus $0.75, which covers the cost of letterhead, labels and envelopes.

We are members of the APS and a bunch of other philatelic societies (and if you, are not, suggest you check out the American Philatelic Society as they are great!)

We guarantee your satisfaction. Completely. If for any reason you are not completely and totally satisfied and happy that you made the purchase up to 60 days (or 90 if you want to send something to be expertized!) we will reimburse your entire price and shipping.

We have been doing this for a while so please check our Hip references on the older shop.

While we try to describe items as accurately as possible, we are bound to make the occasional error though, so if for any reason you are not delighted with your purchase, we will provide a full refund if notified within 60 days.

Notes/Hints to Buyers:

Pictures - if you click on the images of the items for sale, they should expand. If you want to look closer, click on the image to expand it, then right click on the image again and select Save As. Save the image to your computer/phone and then you should be able to open it and zoom in with your own photo viewing software. If you would like a better or different image or have questions, please feel free to message us and we will try to oblige.

Sniping software - if you live in another time zone or are unable to bid live at the end of an auction, consider using a sniping service (ie - they will place the bids for you at the last second) that will do the job for you. We use Esnipe personally.

Expertizing - we stand by our material. If you want to send something to be expertized, just let us know so that we save the information as that can sometimes take a while.
