We recently bought much of the stock of Dr. Jack Ott, a mid-Atlantic dealer who passed away. There are tens of thousands of covers and postal history items and we are listing it bit by bit. MOST OF THIS MATERIAL WE WILL BE STARTING AT 99C OR CLOSE THERETO AND THERE WILL BE MANY TERRIFIC BARGAINS. WE GENERALLY START AND END AUCTIONS EACH SUNDAY BETWEEN 6PM AND 10PM US EST. Please check our listings closely. Any material that does not sell at auction gets listed at a higher price for fixed price sale and also gets listed on our HipStamp account under StagsheadCovers.

We are starting to add Event Covers, FFC and will be starting the postal history and postal stationary and postcards in the next few weeks/months so please watch our store.

We are two retired collectors in West Virginia who buy large collections to get material for ourselves and we sell the rest.

Please check out the other items we have for sale. There are probably more items for sale in whatever collecting area this is.

For shipping, we try to charge actual cost plus $0.75 and then 25c (US) for each additional cover, which covers the cost of letterhead, labels, envelopes and a local young person who comes and pulls and ships the items for us. (Only way we can break even on 99 cent sales)

We are members of the APS and a bunch of other philatelic societies (and if you, are not, suggest you check out the American Philatelic Society as they are great!)

We guarantee your satisfaction. Completely. If for any reason you are not completely and totally satisfied and happy that you made the purchase up to 60 days (or 90 if you want to send something to be expertized!) we will reimburse your entire price and shipping.

While we try to describe items as accurately as possible, we are bound to make the occasional error though, so if for any reason you are not delighted with your purchase, we will provide a full refund if notified within 60 days.

Notes/Hints to Buyers:

Pictures - if you click on the images of the items for sale, they should expand. If you want to look closer, click on the image to expand it, then right click on the image again and select Save As. Save the image to your computer/phone and then you should be able to open it and zoom in with your own photo viewing software. If you would like a better or different image or have questions, please feel free to message us and we will try to oblige.

Sniping software - if you live in another time zone or are unable to bid live at the end of an auction, consider using a sniping service (ie - they will place the bids for you at the last second) that will do the job for you. We use Esnipe personally.

Expertizing - we stand by our material. If you want to send something to be expertized, just let us know so that we save the information as that can sometimes take a while.
