Bank note [american, continental or national], as well as smaller format "bureau of printing & engraving" stamp(s) or even a postal stationery envelope (pse) cut-square] that feature a distinctive, contemporary "fancy cancel" strike*** or post office auxiliary marking***. . .

All cancellations should be considered to have been applied in "black ink" unless otherwise stated in the listing heading or description...Increasing or decreasing contrast or brightness of the item's scans during the uploading process can slightly alter some color hues.
