This example represents one of many of the selected resale items acquired from the recent comprehensive auction of the authur beane philatelic estate that featured some of rarest u. S. 19th century fancy cancellation material in existence. These offerings include both ordinary and elusive post-civil war era fancy cancellation items from mr. Beane's personnel collection, including his renowned award-winning exhibits

All cancellations should be considered to have been applied in "black ink" unless otherwise stated in the listing heading or description...Increasing or decreasing contrast or brightness of the item's scans during the uploading process can slightly alter some color hues.

Also, note that some minor paper flaws may be present that do not adversely affect the appearance of this classic stamp or the quality of its cancellation.
