Item Description

Early United States General Issues 1929. Complete set of Scott #632-642 with Kans. overprint. These are a cancelled set of Scott #658-668, and #660 is MNH. This special issue was authorized as a measure of preventing losses from post office burglaries. The initial issue of a years supply was discontinued after the initial supply was used. Catalog value $182.00.

Note: I
