Current retail value: ~ $7.50. Single International Philatelic Exposition sticker commemorating the 100th anniversary of the use of American postage stamps in MNH, VF condition. No flaws noted. The gum is immaculate & shiny, the sticker is crisp & its color is bright. This item was issued to commemorate the International Philatelic Exposition (IPE) that was held in New York City from May 17, 1947, through May 25, 1947. The IPE was held, in part, to celebrate the 100th anniversary of the first postage stamp issued in the United States in 1847. Engraved, water-activated gum, perf 12.
