Item Description

SCV $0.55 (2020). Block of four 6-cent airmail stamps commemorating the 50th anniversary of Powered Flight in UNUSED, VF condition. A hinge mark is seen on the back of each of the two stamps located at the upper half of the block, otherwise no flaws noted. Perforations are fully intact (i.e. no separations or folds are noted), the gum is immaculate & shiny (except in the areas of the hinge marks), the stamps are crisp & their color is bright. Selvage is attached along the bottom & left side of the block of stamps & plate number '24781' is printed vertically on the left selvage next to the stamp located at the lower left-hand corner. Rotary press printing, water-activated gum, no watermark, perf 11 x10½.
