Us 65 on cover with black new york oct 19 (october) circular dated postmark with quartered fancy cancel tying stamp to cover --- addressed to mr. Nelson woodward, evans center, erie county, new york --- stamp has nibbled and missing perfs --- diagonal creases, especially at side edges and corners

Horizontal creases near top edge --- some soiling, especially on back --- damage to top left corner, including left part of back flap --- cover roughly slit open at right (from front); dark strip across bottom or sides is the plastic holder in the scan
