US 627 (PL-13) 2c Sesquicentennial Exposition single on First Day Cover (w/ 4 other stamps - #552, 554, 555 & 561 - all perf. 11 - not FD), Washington, D.C. May 10, 1926 slogan machine cancel & duplex hand cancel, (Planty -13), not a cachet but a rubber stamp circle on the back of the cover with "C.E. Nickles" in center & his address around the rim of the circle in blue (Nickles was a stamp dealer & an early First Day Cover pioneer), address-o-graph typed address, Air Mail envelope, Cheyenne, Wyo. May 12, 1926 machine cancel back-stamp, light corner creases bottom left. Nice early Classic FDC! PLANTY (1994) CAT. VAL. $35.00 - Should be more than double that today! ECV $75.00
