U.S. #546 sound, not quite fine, type III, mint never hinged plate block of four with plate number 10670 S30. Durlands reports this plate number as scarce. I've seen #499's (see photo 3 for one example from the PF archives), offset issues and even a #500 listed as #546. This is a stamp I would not normally sell without a COA, but plate number 10670 conclusively identifies this block as #546. Photo 2 shows two discolored areas suspiciously where a hinge might have been, but these are not hinge marks--the gum is absolutely pristine and I have no idea what might have caused the discoloration. With a 2024 Scott catalog value of $1450, this block is priced to sell.About shipping: I combine shipping. Any other item purchased with this will ship at no additional charge.
