Condition: MNH, PNS beauty.

PERFECT LITTLE GEMS: Stamps listed as “Perfect Little Gems” are just that; stamps that are essentially flawless. That means no thins, bends, creases or fingerprints. Perforations are perfectly centered and with no blind, nibbled or separated perfs. When millions upon millions of the same stamp are printed, the only characteristic that can distinguish one from the masses is perfection. Available in this offering is a sound MNH XF-Superb example of U.S. #499 with top plate number 8019 and extra wide selvedge. Small amount of offset on back typical for the flat plate printings. Excellent candidate for grading and guaranteed to earn a PSE grade of 95 or better.
